Someone from the Saint John Parking Commision show up at my house at 7pm!
Looking for someone that does not live there? I have lived here for 15 years.
Since when do they come to your door at 7pm and why? A parking ticket?
I would like to know.

To serve a summons to someone who hasn't paid thier parking tickets. They then have to appear in court.
Summonses are quite often served in the evening because there is a greater chance of finding someone at home then.

did the person look like me? this is what I do periodically serve court documents for unpaid tickets and fines.

I work uptown and last summer i was SOL for parking so I was parking on the street at a meter. I got tickets if I couldn't get out and get change into it, and I paid them always within 7 days. One morning in the fall I was getting to work at 7 am and there was a guy in an unmarked car, waiting to hassle me about the parking!!! I was really Pissed and so was my boss. She called and complained to the parking commision.
I know I shouldn't park there but I think it was out of his right to wait there for me in the early morning in the dark and harass me about it. I just told him if he was going to give me a ticket or tow me go ahead, but that I didn't have to talk to him in that situation. He never did either I think he was on some kind of power trip
