Fire Works?

Were there Fire works uptown tonight? Sitting at home and started to hear the rumbles. Thought it was thunder at first, then I realized it wasn't.

We heard them last night as well and wondered why they weren't announced.

If it was a Rockwood Park event, it wasn't well advertised!!!

Now here I was thinking it was from the fair because we hadn't heard anything about it happening!

I live way out in read head, and it sounded quite close. Dog was sitting beside me when the first one went off. She looked, up sat for a second then ran to the bathroom and hid behind the toilet! Then it started, and that's when I knew it was not thunder.

I was just surprised that the city didn't do any advertising. But now I know why.
