EI question

Does anyone know how it works on your EI if when you get laid off and you are sick for 3 days of the week before layoff. what do you put for last day worked. There is some loophole that makes your waiting period less that has to deal with this. I have never heard of it but my neighbor wants to find out about it. I told him to just open his claim from last year.

i just went by the day that my roe said. when u file they just ask about the hours of your last week you worked. just for a rough idea on what you made each week/

If you were paid on one of the 3 sick days then you can put that as your last day worked. That may speed up the process of getting your EI. This may have changed, I am not really sure. Good luck :biggrin:
