Windows Live messenger

Anyone else find this drags your system down like a lead weight? My whole virtual world comes to a crashing halt when someone logs in or I get notification of an email. Not to mention the fact that it takes forever to load. I'm sorry i upgraded from 7.0

I am running vista ultimate on a P4 2.5gig with 760 meg ram and i have had no problems with messenger yet.

Works like a charm for me aside from some of my other problems that aren't anywhere's near related to this. I'm only running an AMD 2800XP Athlon w/XP Pro SP2 and 512 megs of Ram. I don't ever recall having a problem with messenger ever. Sorry bud.

Theres alot of bugs in the newest windows live ... the 2nd one i deleted the msn plus now its working a bit better , most of the time it says the person i am talking with isnt on my list or is offline.. weird

i hate the new version the old one was way better in my oppinion, mine is always freezing up or booting me off... pretty frustrating GRRR! i think ill go back to the old one :)
