try this:
http://www.memtest.org/

Memory testing is relatively simple, so theres no real 'bad' product...it consists of merely writing and reading information to memory to see if any errors occur.

I tell you Paak, I could have used your tel# this morning, I was playing Warcraft and all of a sudden my whole system shut down, no notice, nothing. I wasn't getting any power to boot whatsoever, all the lights were lighting up inside but nothing on power on. I thought to myself, it has to be the power supply, something i learned in electronics, "K.I.S.S" stands for keep it simple stupid. I replaced the power supply with a 350 Watt one ATX, powered up and no damage to any other components. Thank GOD.

I had that happen but tried different power supply and nothing then tried another mother board and it was the motherboard Godfather consider urself lucky on that one. The funny thing about my board there was no sign of anything wrong until I got the new one same model and evertything was running alot cooler

the distinguishing sound that made me realize it was the power supply was a single clicking sound when the whole system shut down. I knew something let go at this point and I never heard a processor or board make a single clicking sound, usually there's a bad sulfuric smell and a tad bit of smoke.

Are you referring to bootup beep codes because you can check those beep codes and it will tell you what the problem is, it differs from BIOS make.

In order to properly test a MOBO to the board level, you'd need an Ocilliscope and a multi-meter plus the digital layout specs. Most people don't go to that sort of trouble unless your the maker of the board. RMA'ing parts is the simplest way and the easiest, but I find the wait time is long.
